What keeps you motivated?

Time to catch up, but where to begin?? My mind is kind of scattered right now so I'm just going to go with the flow as everything I want to share comes to me.... Today was the first day of school. I officially have a 7th grader, 4th grader and 1st grader (and a destructive 11 month old as well) and let me just share with you how spiffy they were looking for their first day!!!
Too cute right? My kids. They got swag. They all had a great first day. As much as I wish summer didn't have to end, it's kind of nice getting back into a routine. I'm sharing pics of my big monkeys, so I can't leave out my baby beast monkey! Yes. The kid is always in beast, destructive mode!! Along with that, he's always smiling and laughing, even with his third round of double ear infections.... Here he is!
I know...how can THAT face be a beast?! Oh, he can my friends. He can. One last personal picture I wanted to share is my best friend, biggest fan AND he just so happens to be the love of my life. Love happens in mysterious ways....
He is the reason I am now forever a Cougar!! Oh hey, check out my workout tank! Muscles and Mascara.... a gift from one of my sweet friends!  So, why the family pics and update? That's easy, Because if it wasn't for those five people in my life, it would be meaningless. They don't even realize the impact they have on me on a daily basis. To try my best. To not give up. To push myself to my limits. And to be a better person everyday. Everything I do, I have them on my mind. I strive to make my children and Scott proud. Scott and I are far from perfect, in fact we can be quite dysfunctional. But we're real. There is no sugar coating in our lives. We struggle, we stress, we argue....but there is a love and passion behind all that we do that reminds us to never give up on each other. So, although I may seem consumed with my training, hitting the gym twice a day, prepping my meals daily, working my Younique biz when I have down time....my #1 priority is my family. Without them, none of this would mean anything. My life is fuller than it ever has been and I have so many reasons to wake up with a happy heart. Call me cheezy, but it's the truth!
So, that's a little taste of my personal life. I'm a family girl. I may not be a hands on artsy craftsy mom, I may not play Ever After High dolls with my daughter or Mind Craft with my boys...(that just looks so boring!) but my kids know they are loved. They are happy and that is what matters. They know Mommy will throw down if someone lays a finger on them or bullies them... Scott and my kids, that's what keeps me motivated on a daily basis. Of course, seeing results, watching the pounds fall off and feeling stronger and lifting heavier are also quite motivating factors as well!!! :)
