Wake up with a purpose.

Not a whole lot to share. It's been a busy couple of weeks, but I am thoroughly enjoying this evening with my love. My big kids are with their dad and the baby has been sound asleep for a couple hours. Scott has been busy on his computer working on his weekly blog and I've been on my laptop doing some research and getting ready for the launch of inTANsified in just a week!! We have the symphonies playing in the background as well as the ocean sounds coming through the baby monitor. It doesn't get more relaxing than this....even though we aren't snuggled up watching a movie, we are chatting and working and I love it. We are the dynamic duo on a mission for success. Just watch.
"A dream without a plan is just a wish...." I love that as well as the quote above. A very successful Younique Green Elite Presenter had it on her Facebook and it stood out to me. Scott and I have big dreams, and one day, those dreams will be reality. We are getting closer every day. Small steps. Big steps and some backwards steps...we WILL get there.

Yesterday I was completely frustrated with my workout. It was back day, which means my new favorite thing to do. Deadlifts. Scott and my boss were both working with me on my form. Needless to say..... getting a deadlift form right is NOT easy. I have no patience. I want to get  it right like NOW. I didn't give up, but I was disappointed that I didn't have it just right by the time we moved on to other stuff. I did kill all the other things Scott threw at me which helped lessen my frustration but even by the time we got back into the car I was still bummed. He gave me my pep talk and I got over it.....or at least I didn't let it ruin the rest of our evening. This morning I busted out cardio and leg day because Scott and I had a ton of errands to do after I got off work and weren't sure if a workout was going to fit in. Well. Having correct form is no joke. I can tell from the few deadlifts that I didn't do correctly that it affected my lower back. My workout was suppose to be a lot of heavy squats and lunges with the bar and weights. I did them, but I couldn't go as heavy as I planned because my lower back was sore. I made up for it with a lot of squats and lunges with no weight as well. Listen to your trainers peeps. Get the form right. Your back and the rest of your body will thank you!!!
I did receive the coolest compliment from a couple of awesome moms that were picking up their children from Kid Care this morning at work. Apparently they were both working out while I was working on my deadlifts and were watching me.  They said they were totally impressed and that I'm a beast! Well, if that's not a confidence, motivation booster...I don't know what is! I thanked them and told them I had a lot of work still, but they couldn't have complimented me at a better time after that discouraging (to me) workout! Thank you Megan and Brittany for making my day!!! And to Amber that tells me everyday how great I'm looking and how I motivate her!! Of course to Scott, he always cheers me on...but to have other women compliment me....its a great feeling. I CAN do this. I WILL do this.
Time to finish up here and get back to more business as well as finish up the final details of my soon to be 12 year old and soon to be one year olds birthday parties happening this weekend!! Thank YOU for all your continued support.....
Yup. This is me when the baby takes forever to go back to sleep.......
