What I will do when I get rich...

I will pay someone to meal prep for me!!! I'll do the shopping, but then I'll pay someone to come and cook it, weigh it, portion it and put it in containers! Man, not gonna lie. That was WORK! Oh, in case you didn't figure it out, today was my first day of meal prepping. Tomorrow starts Day One of training. I started my grocery shopping out at a local store but realized that I might be better off at Trader Joe's. So, Cruz and I went there and got the remaining items on my list. Tj's was definitely the way to go!! Shopping at a smaller store like that was fun, Cruz decided he prefers to ride backwards in the cart. The kid is tiny enough that even when he is strapped in super tight, he still can wiggle around. Makes for an AWESOME fun time for mom! So as we pass people, he either gets the "oh he's so cute" comments or I get the "you suck as a mom and your kid is going to fall out!" looks.

 

See? There's the little stunt man. Bent and twisted in a pretzel position. He's just too stinkin cute. You can also see the labor of my meal prep. It was quite eventful. I opened the freezer, dropped something, bent over to get it, only to whack the top of my head on the closing freezer door. Sliced my finger while slicing sweet potatoes and dumped my protein powder into my oats. BUT I got it done! A variety of protein, veggies and some fruit.... even though I was slow to start as I was trying to work out a strategy, I got a system going and I hope each prep day gets easier and quicker!!

I like to be prepared. You never know when someone might be desperate for a mascara fix! I swear, it happens!!

 

I just got finished with my "last supper".... spoiled by Scott with some of my faves...pizza with mushrooms and olives and breadsticks. Followed by my cookie dough Ben and Jerry weakness.... Here I go as I begin on what might truly be the biggest lifestyle change in my life!!!
