So, I'm feeling guilty today because I've just kind of been throwing things into my food diary trying to hit my macro numbers.
I knew last night that I wanted to have pizza with my family for dinner. So I entered two pieces of pizza last night. I had nothing planned after that. We had an early workout, so I didn't have breakfast and just had a Fuel for Fire pouch after my workout because I had to get to my sons soccer game.
After that we had Chipotle for lunch. I tried to keep it healthy and get a good potion of my protein in for the day with chicken tacos. Soft tacos on corn tortillas with just a bit of sour cream and guacamole. They were bomb! And all the Chipotle menu items are conveniently listed in the My Fitness Pal!! Looks like another new place to eat out and have it be relatively healthy.
When we got home I realized according to MFP (My Fitness Pal) that I was still quite a bit away from hitting my numbers. I admit, this first thing I entered was a couple double stuff Oreos. They made my numbers skyrocket. Sooooo I removed them and began playing around with other things. I added a protein shake, some veggies and was still lacking just a bit....threw in a couple candy corn. I felt guilty....
And now since I started this blog, things have changed. I only ate one piece of pizza. So I removed one slice from my journal and replaced it with two Oreos and 1/2C of milk! IIFYM is great! So many different ways you can work your numbers, but also so bad. Sure, I could hit my numbers with all junk food but I don't want to feel sluggish all day. I can feel the difference between my Chipotle lunch and that one slice of pizza. I'm laying here full and don't want to move. The scale is still moving down, five pounds this week, but I'd rather be filling me body with more goodness then bad. Funny how macros can play with your mind a little!!
I'm going to attach a couple links to some articles I found on Pinterest that better explain macros and IIFYM for you. Hopefully tomorrow will not be another blog about my macros. Haha I'll get the hang of this! I will!

Workout was good today. Legs, legs and more legs. Which was good because my upper body is so sore from chest day yesterday!
Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
Watching brothers first soccer game!
Oh and thank you to my girl Hayley for letting me know that at the soccer field some other girls were checking out my booty and saying they needed to learn to do what I've been doing! Those kind of compliments make you want to stop right there and twerk! Don't worry. I didn't. Scott and my children would've been mortified. On top of that fine compliment, to be told at Target today by a client turned friend that I'm looking all tiny (clearly not tiny, but maybe those 5 lbs are making a difference!) and also at the soccer field Scott and I were both told that we are motivating. So cool. We don't do what we do with just ourselves in mind. But our kids, our family, our friends and anyone out there that takes the time to follow us. We have a plan. You just have to follow along to find out what our ultimate plan is!
