Take me to Disney.

It's been almost two weeks since I've blogged. Life's been busy, hectic and full of ups and downs. But what else is new right?
I'm not going to go back and try to remember everything that has been going on. There has been a lot of CrossFit, Bodybuilding, counting macros, chasing kids, soccer games and a fabulous, beautiful wedding.
I won't fill you in on every workout. I'll never remember. Except for one. It was a WOD that I wasn't able to get into ACF to do, but Cori and I completed it at Give.

Can you see that clearly? 70 burpees. 70! It was tough, but we completed it! There hasn't been a WOD that wasn't challenging since I started CrossFit, but this one I really mentally had to make myself complete it.
On a different day when we completed a WOD at ACF it was really nice to have some time after class and have Coach Curtis work with Cori and I on some different things. One of the things I love is the time they spend with each member. It's so helpful.
Yesterday Cori and I completed a partner WOD. Back squats and jerks. Partner WODS make me nervous as I do not like to slow my partner up. Cori is a good partner to have, she pushed me along and doesn't get frustrated (at least she doesn't act like it) when I'm slowing up.
This past weekend I had three straight days of bad eating. Between Olive Garden, pizza and beer at a wedding, numbers were off the charts and I avoided the scale until this morning. By some miracle it held steady. No weight gained. That's a shock!
Saturday was truly amazing watching a beautiful friend get married. Scott and I had so much fun. More fun then we've had in a long time. Lots and lots of dancing!

And now I'm back on track with my macros. After three days of bad eating I'm still feeling pretty shitty! Looking forward to losing some more weight this week!
I'm also looking forward a mini weekend getaway with Scott to Disneyland hopefully in the near future! Sometimes a couple just needs to escape the daily grind and focus on each other....
