Buff chick problems!

Is "buff" even the correct term? Or should I have said "Gainz Girls Problems"?? I'm still new to this bodybuilding world and learning the lingo!! Well. Either way, I'm stoked to be able to use that line in reference to MYSELF! Okay, so I'm by far from the next Dana Linn Bailey in the bodybuilding world, or Christmas Abbott in the crossfit world...but let me tell you, for the first time in my life I was EXCITED when a shirt I went to put on was too tight in the sleeves! Let me share this rad moment with you. It was Sunday morning and I was due for a spray tan (hey, I have to rep what I sell and I love being tan), so after Scott and I finished our workout, I got prepped and Scott air brushed me (yes, Scott does my spray tan, there is no way I can do it to myself). Yes, I think it's one of his favorite things to do every week! Once sprayed, I can't shower until the next day (for the ideal tan) and its best to wear something loose while your tan sets. Normally I lounge around in something comfy but we had errands to run. So, I picked an outfit which included a flannel that I wear with leggings that was loose just last winter season. NOT TODAY! Remember "fat guy in a little coat" on Tommy Boy?? That was ME! The flannel pretty much cut off circulation on my arms. Wearing this now tiny shirt, I gleefully ran down the stairs to show Scott!!
Yes, this was me!

Crazy to be excited that a shirt that I wore just last winter was too tight right? I think you have to be in this lifestyle to understand. It really is the changes that keep you motivated. All my life I just liked to be skinny. Fitting in size 1 jeans and tiny little tops. Never did I think about being FIT. Nope. Just a toothpick. I had no figure but I liked being told "you're so tiny." Four kids later and 35 years old, tiny was hardly the description for me, but I was average. Still not much of a figure though. Eventually, I bought the boobs (it's been almost three years but we can chat about that on another blog) and now I'm building an ass!! I feel GREAT. My confidence has been boosted and I have a passion for discussing all these changes I have made in my lifestyle. Seriously. ANYONE can do this. It doesn't take a special drink or magic pills.... Just confidence in yourself that you CAN do it, a support team behind you, guidance from people that know what they're talking about, daily motivation that can keep you focused and dedication. You know from my past blogs that I HAVE fallen off track and used every excuse in the book as to why...but that's the reality of it. The struggle is real for some. But now that I am TRULY feeling AND seeing the results, I'm addicted. I'm finding excuses NOT to take days off!! I'm not certified and I have so much to learn, but I CAN offer my support and I'm going to work harder on making the time for daily blogs to help keep you motivated.

So, life has been busy, busy, busy. Hence why my blogs have been far and few between. I've still got all the usual going on in my life, kids, training, inTANsified, Muscles and Mascara and now Scott and I have been working on launching Prove It Apparel in the very near future.  Please take a second to check out our Facebook page and like it while you're there! Thanks! He also has his Find Your Purpose Project in the works as well....more on that in the future! It's no secret that I am totally obsessed with Rob and Dana Linn Bailey. Scott has grown pretty fond of them as well. They are awesome. Truly an inspiration to us in so many ways! Well, on Black Friday at midnight they launched new clothing and accessories on their website. The cool thing about their stuff is that its VERY limited quantity. They screen print all their own stuff by hand. No two shirts are alike. How badass is that? I was determined to get a specific shirt for Scott. This launch had my anxiety up! There were thousands of people all over the world sitting on their computers, commenting on Facebook posts, just WAITING for the sale to start!! When it started (nine minutes late!) I was so excited that everything I wanted was available and "safely" in my shopping cart! Until I checked out and found that in fact it wasn't safe at all! Most of it was already sold out! It had been 20 minutes since the sale started! Wtf?! I was so bummed, but understood why the Flag nor Fail "seasoned" shoppers had been talking about checking out real quick and then going back for more. Sheesh. So bummed. Anyway, surely my shopping experience is not all that exciting to you but what I am getting at is the success of this husband and wife team. Just a couple years ago they were told "It can't be done! You won't be successful." Yet, here they are. Killing everything. Scott and I hope that we can learn from them and "prove" we can be successful also.
It was an early Christmas for Scott and I the other day when our Flag nor Fail order arrived. Below was our mini photo sesh sportin' our new gear! The "Kill Everything" shirt I am wearing was a free test print that they sent with our order. Scott and I doctored it up because I'm not much of a tshirt person. Next on my Christmas wish list is a beanie and hat.... (hint hint to my personal Santa! haha)

I showed my oldest son Trey this picture and he said "That's YOU mom?! You can be my bodyguard! You have really been working hard!" I have a long way to go, but praise from your 12 year old is pretty awesome!
Oh hey, my blog was approved for AdSense. I truly don't know what that does, I'm a little confused. But I DO know you only get approved if you have lots of viewers...so, thanks!! I appreciate the support and interest in my blog. I'd love to connect more with everyone. I'm on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Google+ as well!! I'm not sure what AdSense is putting on my blog, but I hear if you click on the ad, it benefits me. I read that some guy even earned $2.00 in nine months from AdSense! Sweet! (no that wasn't a typo, I was being sarcastic, duh).
