I follow a ton of different people on Instagram. I have three favorite women that inspire and motivate me daily. If you know me or follow me then my number one favorite is a no brainer!
There she is. The one and only Dana Linn Bailey. If you want to follow someone that is 100% dedicated to their passion, follow her. She is a "what you see is what you get" badass chick. She and her husband Rob are about as down to earth as you can get. I envy her dedication in all that she does. She is beautiful and her body is absolutely amazing.
My second favorite is Jessica Arevalo. She is actually the first woman that I started following as I began my journey to my first fitness competition. I found her daily videos helpful and her photos motivating. Obviously she is stunning a woman and to me, rocks the perfect body. She is super girly girl yet rocks the heavy lifting.
My third favorite is Paige Hathaway. I actually don't know much about her background but I know she is sponsored by Shredz Supplements (as is Jessica above, she recently left NLA for her and joined the Shredz team). I find her photos motivating. Again, very feminine yet clearly a badass when it comes to healthy eating and working out.
So. Am I trying to BE any of those fit and beautiful women that I admire? Absolutely. NOT. Sure, they motivate me. They inspire me. And they make me want to kick ass at all that I do. But all I want to be is Jamie Fasano. I want my followers to get to know me. My goofy, blatantly honest, non sugar coating, sarcastic, funny, loving and sometimes overly paranoid self. A lifting mom that loves her boyfriend and children so much that she'd kill for them. Someone that if she misses a day in the gym she goes into grump mode. That loves ice cream, pizza and sushi so much that she could eat it every day. The "no excuse" mom that finds excuses to eat ice cream every night....someone that loves her job at Give Fitness and lives for making others feel confident and beautiful after she air brush tans them. I WANT to be strong AND fit. I want to walk down the street with Scott and be "that fit couple".
I want that....^^^^ I can't exactly call what I'm doing as "work" as I love what I do. But I want to make a name for myself. Scott and I have big plans and every day we get a little closer to making our plans a reality. You were born an original. Be that person. Don't try to be someone else. You will just get lost amongst the sheep. Yesterday I posted a gym selfie and the response I got online and in person was completely unexpected but totally motivating! Women that I admire approached me and praised me for my hard work and how I motivate them. This is what I live for.
That's me. (In case you didn't know).
