IsaHUNGRY! IsaFAIL!

I need to give props to my Isagenix loving friends. There's quite a few of you. If you read my blog earlier this week you're aware that I went against everything Scott and I have shared as our beliefs (clean eating and working out is the best way to go) and I decided to do a 9 day cleanse through Isagenix. Yesterday was day one of the actual detox and day three of the nine day cleanse. I held up pretty well on my first two shake days. I replaced two meals with shakes and then one healthy meal and then approved snacks through the day. I don't care for the flavor of the shakes, but the colder the water the better they tasted!
On to detox day yesterday. This is where the props to my Isagenix girls goes. The detox day is no food. Just this cleanse drink 4x a day plus ISAsnacks and if needed, organic pear, apple and raw almonds. It was needed.  I probably went over the alloted amount.
I was not looking forward to cleanse day. And it was every second as terrible as I expected. Those of you that have made a lifestyle out of Isagenix and cleansing, you go with your bad self! It tasted bad, I was like a kid gagging down medicine. You ISA girls are truly bad ass and I commend you!!!
By the evening I was irritable, tired, unmotivated, I had a massive headache and obviously starving. I didn't like being told my daily workout had to be "easy" and "light weight".... Two days of that? Ughhh! I was late to my sons baseball game because I was so over the day. After the game I ate some food. Not a ton but enough that I felt better but at the same time guilty and disappointed.

So many of you do this weekly and I truly don't know how. And I have to say, you are the most supportive group of gals ever. My phone had been blowing up with encouragement and I thank you. You're the reason I felt guilty after I ate some food last night haha
I HAVE decided to push through Day 2 of detox and finish out the nine day cleanse. I don't know if all the work I already put in over the last three days was ruined by eating last night, but I'll go for it anyway. No promises that by the end of today there won't be food involved, but at least tomorrow will be back to shake days.
After that it will (hopefully) be easier to get on track with clean eating again and one cheat meal per week. At least until I can lose these pounds that continue to stick in unwanted places and then have more flexibility in my diet. I still feel this is the best way, at least for Scott and I. He and I just need to stick to it. When two people have the same love for sushi, pizza and ice cream, it's very easy to persuade one another to "just have pizza tonight and we'll be good the rest of the week!"
And there you have it. I'm an ISAdropout. Well, not drop out as I am going to try to push through this last few days of the cleanse, but we shall see.....
Thank you again to the ISA friends that encouraged me and supported me. I am so glad you all have found something you are passionate about and works for you! To Scott and my friends that didn't agree with what I was doing, but still supoorted me, thank you! I tried, I'm still trying but ISA life just isn't for me.

With that being said, bottoms up to my delicious cleanse drink! 😜
