Not so motivated Monday.

Okay, so it was definitely Monday. I over slept and somehow still managed to get the kids out of the house on time and even arrived to work 10 minutes early. 
It was the first day of eating better. I was suppose to start my morning making my egg whites with some greens. Unfortunately sleeping bad and waking up late did not allow this to happen. Banana and half a quest bar it was! (I didn't care for the Quest bar, which is why I ate half). 

Work was busy for a Monday, and the kids were feeling the Monday blahs as well! Is it a full moon? 

Noon rolled around and Scott and I got in a good back workout. We did some deadlifts, free weights and machines. Felt good! 
After our workout, I headed out to bronze some beauties while Scott put the beasty baby down for a nap and meal prepped for a few days! 
I ate a piece of chicken and it was delicious. He seasons everything just right and throws it right on the grill. 
The ACF WOD was intense. Cori and I were able to complete it this afternoon at Give. Although we have the equipment  necessary to complete the WOD outside of the ACF box, you definitely miss the assistance of having a coach there going through every detail with you, warming you up, letting you know where the time will be capped as well as helping assist you in scaling your rounds as needed. 

I am totally mad at myself. I forgot to change my shoes and being I have issues running already, doing it in chucks is not so smart! After three rounds I was hurting. On the 4th round I switched to rowing 400m. Cori completed all 6 rounds in 42 minutes. I capped myself at 4 full completed rounds. It was 41:49. Later we learned that ACF capped at 35 minutes.... Tomorrows WOD should be posted now.... I get anxiety before I see it, but I'm looking forward to getting in there tomorrow! 

Got home and Scott and I made dinner. Although it was pasta with a meat sauce, we weren't going to eat any but decided to just have a small portion for dinner. That's probably not the smartest healthy eating, but we didn't get full or just keep eating to eat like we tend to do. We ate dinner at a decent time, and now I'm totally starving. This is the part that sucks. So do I grab a handful of nuts (don't be gross Scott) and chug some water or just push past the hunger pains and go to bed soon....
Overall, even though this day started out a bit rough, it turned out to be good and a decent day of eating. I still don't think I consumed enough.....
