Sundayyyy. Fundayyyyy.

Apparently there are no days off in my workout life anymore. I'm not doing two-a-days every day anymore and when I DO do them, I'm not going too hardcore in one so I can be ready for the next. Next usually being a WOD at ACF that nearly kills me every time! Haha

Today Scott went into Give and got in a good bench press and arm day. There is no Kid Care on Sunday, so we go seperately. We just started working out on Sunday's a couple weeks ago. It use to be an off day. When Scott got home, Cori and I went in and completed a WOD off of an Instagram account that we follow.

At completion we added in a few sets of ab rowing (I have no idea what it is called.  We had our feet on the rowing seat and our hands on the ground, bringing our knees to our chest. It's tough. Try it.) and 30 second planks with a grand finale one minute plank. It was a great workout!
You know, besides working out with Scott, I've never ever liked working out with other people. It either slows me down because we talk too much or we hardly get anything done because we talk too much. For the first time I ever, (not including Scott!) I LOVE working out with a friend.
You've seen Cori's name a lot in my blogs and FB check ins lately. You probably think we have been friends for a long time. We actually haven't. She started working in Kid Care last year and we just clicked. I don't have a ton of close friends but I can truly say, she has become one of my closest friends ever. Trustworthy, honest friendships are hard to come by these days. I'm thankful for her! Plus, we get shit done when we workout. At Give at ACF...we do work! I love it!

Thank you Cori for being a friend! You're a pal and a confidant! And banana!

After our workouts of the day were complete we gathered the children and headed off to Slo for a semi healthy lunch for them (I indulged in steak, mash and gravy and Mac n cheese) followed by a final pizza dinner. This is it. Scott and I went grocery shopping and loaded up on the veggies and chicken.... I'm super excited. Can you hear the excitement blaring through my blog!? I will be more excited when I can post some results. Hoping to shed a good 15+ pounds. Lesssss goooo!!

This is Scott's delicious salad at Plutos today. If you live in Slo County, you should definitely try it sometime.
